Biography
Dr. Kim is an associate professor of Communication at Central Connecticut State University. Before coming to CCSU, she graduated with her PhD from the University of Alabama. She grew up in South Korea, where she attended Korea University in Seoul and graduated with her BAs and MA.
Based on her specialty in new media and strategic communication, she is teaching courses such as Introduction to Public Relations, Introduction to Organizational Communication, Cases in Public Relations, and Social Media Research and Big Data.
As of 2016, she has had 16 articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals. She also currently serves as an editorial board member and a reviewer for several academic journals. Her research goal is to seek out new strategic communication models and methods in light of the development of communication technology such as the Internet, social media, and mobile devices. She loves coffee, traveling, and trying new foods.
